Donkeys
Burt is a miniature donkey, and our only donkey right now. He was used for breeding most of his life. Now he lives happily with his best friend Rowdy at Ching Rescue. Burt is adorable and will win the hearts of most visitors. He's not very vocal, but when he's hungry you can hear him brea across the entire sanctuary. Miniature donkeys are known for being sweet and loyal and we can definitely see that in Burt. We have no idea how old he is, but he's been with us since 2000. Given that miniature donkeys can live 35+ years we hope he's with us for a very long time.
