Juliette, the black momma goat, and Isabelle, the light tan momma goat, came to Ching Sanctuary with Sarge in 2005. They had all three been found and rescued by a local wildlife rescue, but they are not allowed to keep domestic animals so turned them over to us. All three goats were unaltered, or not fixed, before they were rescued so subsequently both female goats were pregnant when they arrived. It wasn't long before each momma goat gave birth to twins, two adorbable baby boys and two sweet baby girls. They are all so cute and little, they are collectively referred to as the Baby Goats, even the moms who are very pettite Pygmy goats the same tiny size as their now adult children. The boys are Alan and Bryan, and Alan looks more like his dad Sarge every day. Laurie is the only girl who survived, her sister died suddenly of an unknown disease in the Fall of 2011. Laurie is a distinct speckled gray and black color and the naughtiest of the bunch.
