Chi Ping and Elly May are two sibling LaMancha goats came to the sanctuary in May of 2011 at one year of age. They were advertised in a local paper as free goats for a Cinco de Mayo BBQ. Faith could not let this happen and she got to them before any prospective BBQers did. They are brother and sister and bonded with Billy, who is also a LaMancha goat, within days of arriving. The three are rarely far from each other's side, and the two siblings are often found snuggling and spooning.
Elly May (who came with the name Cindy) has a club foot and requires special care. Her more outgoing brother looks out for her and keeps other goats from potentially picking on her. When she's not doing to good, we move her into the special needs section where she gets all the snacks she wants!
