Sarge was rescued by one of Ching Sanctuary's neighbors when they had found him abandoned in the area. He was turned over to us because his rescuers were wildlife rescuers only, and they could not legally keep domestic animals. Sarge arrived at Ching intact (ie. un-neutered) along with two other female goats, Isabelle and Juliette, that had been abandoned with him and were, naturally, both pregnant. Both the female goats later gave birth to twins here at Ching Sanctuary and the whole bunch of moms and children are collectively known as the Baby Goats because they will always be those cute babies in our eyes! Sarge is good friends with all the other goats at Ching and is right there with the herd when its dinner time, pushing to get the best bits of hay.
