Bella is an Arabian horse and was the last of the horses turned over to us from a local feedlot before the owner passed away one week later, and his children took over and shut the business down. She came in 2007 and was 30 years old. She has bonded with Jackson and he will follow her to the ends of the earth! This makes it easy to get Jackson anywhere you want to go, you just have to get Bella first! She is very bossy despite her small stature and quick to let you know if you are late with her senior feed, which she always gets first before Jackson because she is certainly the boss of him as well. Bella is lucky to have escaped the feedlot, most horses are not so lucky and are slaughtered once they've outlived their usefulness.
