Cinder is a mustang from the Chloride herd in Southern Utah. Cinder was born in the wild probably in 1998 and came to Ching by way of a local person who had gotten him from a government auction. There are only about 30,000 wild mustangs left in the United States but they are getting rounded up and thrown off their land to make room for over three million cattle to graze.

The Cattlemen's Association has them removed because it claims the mustangs are overgrazing, which is strange since there are so few of the mustangs left and they eat half of what cattle do. The cattle raised on these lands are consumed as free-range beef. It only makes up about 3% off all the beef consumed in the U.S. Faith is quick to let anyone know that these amazing animals are being pulled out of their homes so you can have a hamburger.
