Kati Large came from a therapy horse ranch where she was used as a teaching horse. When the ranch started, they were in a rural community, but developments came in and soon suburban houses surrounded them. Not long after that, neighbors complained about the smell of manure so Kati's person was required by the city to reduce the number of horses he could have on his property. He tried, but ended up spending two days in jail because didn't get rid of horses fast enough! Kati was 9 years old when she arrived in 2005. She is now the boss of all the other horses at Ching and we love having her around.
