Sheep
Most of the sheep at Ching were used to train dogs to herd. Interestingly, people will buy the sheep solely for this purpose. Once the dogs are well trained, they get rid of the sheep. Sheep are smart so sometimes they get used to the dog before the dog is fully trained. In this case the people get rid of the first pack of sheep and buy a new one. After all of that, they have this great dog that they have spent all this money and time training to herd, but no sheep. It's something the volunteers ponder while we feed the animals.
