Wish List
There are many things that are needed for the animals at the farm, and remember, any donation is tax-deductible.
• Pick up truck that will pull 14' stock trailer.
• Tractor for moving things and digging trenches.
• Financial Donations.
• Good goat hay.
• Clean fresh straw for bedding for rabbits and pigs (in bales).
• Corral Panels.
• A good computer.
• Property (we are outgrowing our current location).
• File Cabinet, in fairly good condition.
• Stall Mats (if used, in good condition) for 12 x 12 horse stall, and various pig houses to keep dust down.
• Blankets for pigs (I collect these all year round).
• New/Working water hoses.
• Horse fencing materials. Some of our fences are getting pretty run down.
• Insulation for winterizing emu barns and pig houses.
• Pillow Cases to make pillows for the pigs (they will be stuffed with the wool from the sheep).
• Kid's plastic swimming pools (smallest) for the ducks and pigs. The ducks love to swim and the pigs need to cool off in the summer as they are prone to heat stroke (will still collect them through the winter).
Also needed are:
• Volunteers who can build awnings (for shade) onto current pig houses
• Volunteers who can weatherproof current pig houses
• Volunteers that can foster farm animals
• Volunteers that can contact hospitals for old blankets
• Volunteers that can pick up loads of hay or straw
• Volunteer Administrative Assistant, Animal Handler
• Volunteers that can drive horses/donkeys/pigs to new homes out of state.
Volunteers are available to pick up items for your convenience. Just email volunteer@chingsanctuary.org.
